The Challenge:

Rachel Walker Coaching specialises in helping late-diagnosed ADHDers find a career path and work-life balance that doesn’t just feel good—but giddy. However, when it came to marketing her coaching business, Rachel felt anything but giddy.

She described herself as “a mixed-up squid,” throwing random posts into the void with no real direction. Marketing felt “icky” and pressure-filled, turning content creation into an exhausting task rather than an expression of her passion. Posting felt like something she “had to” do rather than something that brought her joy. Without a clear strategy, she struggled to see results and often felt like she was stabbing in the dark.

She needed:

  • A structured approach that didn’t stifle creativity.

  • A system to turn her existing wisdom into valuable content.

  • A way to treat social media as a fun, low-pressure activity again.

The Solution:

To help Rachel reclaim a sense of playfulness in her marketing, we focused on visual thinking—mapping out what she was already doing, identifying what worked, and building a sustainable content system.

Content Mapping: We visualised her current marketing activities and pinpointed which efforts were driving engagement.

Content Repurposing: We leveraged her existing Substack and YouTube content to create a steady stream of: YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn posts, and Website blog posts

Low-Effort Promotion: We took over the straightforward promotional content, ensuring she had a presence without the pressure of constantly posting.

Strategic Consistency: We built a system that kept things running in the background, freeing her to engage on social media for creativity and connection rather than obligation.

Since one of Rachel’s core business values is play, we ensured that marketing felt aligned with her philosophy. The goal was to reduce friction and bring back a sense of fun while still maintaining a professional presence.

The Results:

🔹 Freedom to Create & Play: Rachel no longer felt bogged down by “shoulds” in content creation, allowing her to focus on meaningful work.

🔹  Reduced Overwhelm: Seeing her challenges and solutions mapped out visually provided clarity and control.

🔹  Engagement Growth:

  • LinkedIn engagement increased, showing that her audience was responding to more consistent and intentional content.

  • YouTube engagement remained stable, even when main video uploads were less frequent, thanks to a steady stream of Shorts repurposed from existing content.

  • Organic search traffic increased to the website, as more visitors found it easier to find Rachel through Google and other search engines

By shifting Rachel’s marketing approach from scattered and stressful to structured, fun, and effective, she now has a plan she trusts—without the burnout.

Marketing shouldn’t feel like a mystery, a chore, or something you ‘should’ do. It should feel aligned, exciting, and—dare we say—fun.
